Stations/Apparatus
Number 1 Fire Station
120 South Street
The current Number 1 Station went online January 14, 2021 and is located on South Street near Commerce Ave. Station 1 is a pull-through station with the rear doors opening towards Collins Street. This is a three-bay station that is home to FD-21, FD-16, and FD-30.
FD-21
This apparatus is a 2021 Pierce Impel Engine. It is a 1500 gallon per minute pumper that holds 750 gallons of water on board. It is also equipped with numerous hose sections, an LDH intake connection and various firefighting equipment. It has a mid-ship pump panel and is housed at Number 1 Fire Station.
FD-16
This vehicle is a 2006 Pierce Rescue Truck built on an International chasis. It carries numerous spare air bottles, along with fans, extrication equipment, and miscellaneous firefighting equipment. This unit is housed at Number 1 Fire Station.
FD-30
This unit is a 2003 Pierce 100-foot Aerial Platform Truck. The truck has a 2000 gallon per minute pump and holds 300 gallons of water on board. It primarily responds to commercial and mutual-aid calls and is equipped with rope rescue equipment along with other equipment necessary to perform as a front-line pumper. This unit is housed at Number 1 Fire Station.
Number 2 Fire Station
103 South Martin Luther King Drive
The current Number 2 Station was completed in 1972. This two-bay station is home to FD-20, FD-15, Mobile Air Unit, and contains a meeting room, day room and the office of the Maintenance Engineer.
FD-20
This apparatus is a 2016 Pierce Impel Engine. It is a 1500 gallon per minute pumper that holds 750 gallons of water on board. FD-15
This unit is a 2012 Ford F-550/EVI Rescue Truck. It is equipped with spare air bottles, extrication equipment, and various firefighting equipment. This vehicle is housed at Number 2 Fire Station.
Number 3 Fire Station

The current Number 3 Station was constructed in 2010 to assist with response times on the west side of town. It is currently home to FD-23, FD-18, FD-11, and also contains a day room/meeting room and a conference room. The building also contains an east display bay that is home to the fully-restored FD-40. Station 3 also has a full outdoor kitchen and patio furniture for the members to enjoy .
FD-23
This apparatus is a 2010 Pierce Impel Engine. It is a 1500 gallon per minute pumper that holds 750 gallons of water on board. It is also equipped with numerous hose sections, an LDH intake connection and various firefighting equipment. It has a mid-ship pump panel and is housed at Number 3 Fire Station.
FD-18
This unit is a 2011 Osh Kosh Stinger Airport Crash Rescue vehicle. It has a 250 gallon per minute pump and holds **** gallons of water on board. It is also equipped with a CAF system and a 500 pound Purple K dry chemical system. This unit has pump-on-the-go capabilities through a front bumper mounted turret. This unit is housed at Number 3 Fire Station.
Haz-Mat Response Trailer
In 2005, the CVFD obtained this 22-foot covered trailer to serve in response to the increasing threat from terrorist activity and for local contaminations. It is fully equipped with a wide variety of gear to allow firefighters to respond to hazardous material incidents. This unit is housed at Number 3 Fire Station.
FD-11
This unit is a 2007 Ford F-250 Super Duty pickup with a deludge gun mounted in the bed. It is primarily used for large commercial fires and as a support vehicle for FD-30. This unit is located at Number 3 Fire Station.
FD-40
This unit is a 1940 International Engine that has a pumping capcity of 650 gallons per minute. This truck has been restored by members of the CVFD and is still in use today as a parade truck and fire prevention truck. It is currently housed in the display bay at Number 3 Fire Station.
FD-12
This vehicle is a 2017 Ford F-150 that serves as the response vehicle of the Fire Inspector.
FD-25
This vehicle is a 2011 Chevrolet 2500HD and serves as the response vehicle of the Maintenance Engineer Assistant.
